If anyone has a Tjmax, Marshall’s or Homegoods in their area be on the lookout for these scone mixes.  They come in a variety of flavors and are so easy to bake.  For the past couple of years the stores here get a few bags once a month or so and I buy all they have.  Hubbie like them with his coffee.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll be sure to look for them. Would love a lemon flavor.

I make scone from scratch, but I would give those a try.

The cherry ones are geat!  I don't like pumpkin, but they have lots of other flavors that are good too!

@GAQShopr53 They are not too sweet, have the scone consistency but are more moist.

Thanks for the endorsement.

There are so many great looking goodies on the food aisle.

The mix is one pound.

Do you use the entire package at a time?

How many scones do you make?

I bought these before from Home Goods.  They are delicious.  I even had a catering guy tell me these were just so good and I told him they were from a mix.  He said it tastes like made from scratch.  I love them.  But,  the last time I was at Home Goods I couldn't find them.  You must live near me and bought all of them. Ha!

If you cannot buy this delicious mix, my sister-in-law's recipe is tasty:

4 1/2 cups flour

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 tbsp baking powder

2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp salt

1 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp cloves

1/2 tsp ginger

6 tbsp cold butter

6 tbsp shortening

15 oz can pumpkin

2 eggs

1/4 cup milk

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger in big bowl.  Mix in butter and shortening with pastry cutter until mixture is crumbly.

Mix pumpkin, egg, and milk in medium bowl, then stir into dry mixture to create the dough.  Shape into 1/2"-thick square on floured surface.  Cut into wedges and place on greased baking sheet.  Makes 16 scones.

Bake at 425 degrees until light brown, 10-15 minutes.  Cool on wire rack.

To glaze: Whisk 2 cups powdered sugar, 1/4 cup milk, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice in bowl and drizzle over cooled scones.
