I will be cooking my ham and mashed potatoes separately. I cook ALOT, but struggle with sauerkraut, every time I make it. It seems like it needs some things added to it and I know about the diced apple, caraway seeds, etc. What else can I add? I want it to be really good. I purchased it in a jar this year with caraway seeds. Help!
