Sauerbraten Recipe?

My German grandma taught me how to make some wonderful dishes, but never this one. Can anyone help? I tried by taking a roast and using the Knorr Sauerbraten packet to season it...it tasted like it should have with the little amount of effort it took. I would like to make the real deal. Anyone?
