Oh ok.  Thanks so much for the tip!  Most of what I cook is over 350; I'll have to keep that in mind and lower my temperature.

@Citrine1

Sounds like a plan! This should be perfect. I've never had a steak too rare - just cook too long.  Thanks for the info. Anxious to give it a try soon.

Below is my recipe for Salmon.  We prefer it air fried but pan fry on occasion.  Delicious.  If you can't find hickory syrup substitute maple syrup.

RECIPE – SALMON MARINATED WITH HICKORY SYRUP

1 lb. fresh salmon (cut into individual servings)

1 tbsp. olive oil

1 tbsp. soy sauce

1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp. hickory syrup

Directions:

Mix oil, sauces and syrup together.  Brush on both sides of salmon.  Let stand about 8 to 10 minutes.  Place in air fryer or hot pan, sprinkle with almonds, and cook for about 9 minutes per side.

Serve with macaroni and cheese and a side salad.

If you're cooking something that's going to put out a lot of grease/smoke, put a little water in the bottom of the air fryer.
