I make salmon patties.   Have you checked All Recipes?

Love salmon loaf. You can use one can pink (my favorite) or one can of red. Pick out bones and yucky stuff. Add one egg, a splash of Worcester sauce and enough bread crumbs so it holds together to form a loaf. Bake until done and serve with ketchup. Bliss.

I make patties, and I like the bones the best!

Bones have a ton of calcium so I've always eaten them but get rid of the skin.

I leave the small bones but not the round ones.

Me too, but I also remove as much of the skin as possible.

Oh, my goodness,  The round bones are my favourite part!  Eat the Round Bones! Canned salmon is cooked in the can.  Granted they don't look great in a prepaired dish but Don't throw them out. They are soft enough to eat by themselves.  If you'll eat the pin bones  why wouldn't you et the round ones?  THATS where the calcium is!  A toothsome little snack for the chef.

As I recall there is a recipe on most cans of salmon.  Loaf or patties, same recipe.
