SLOW COOKER POT ROAST

1/2 c. A-1 Original Steak Sauce

1/2 c. water

1 pkg. Onion-Mushroom Soup Mix

1 (2 1/2-3 lb.) Boneless Beef Eye Roast

1 lb. new potatoes

1 16oz. pkg. baby carrots

1 onion, thinly sliced

Mix first 3 ingredients until blended. Place meat in slow cooker; top with vegetables & sauce. Cover with lid. Cook on low 8-9 hours (or on high 6-7 hours). Serves 10

I got this online from Kraft & it was really good. The day I made it I didn't eat it so I placed the meat in 1 container, the vegetables in another & the sauce in a 3rd. I put them all in the fridge & and of course the grease got solid on top of the sauce. I got rid of it & then used it like au jus over the meat & vegetables. It was really good. I bought new potatoes since the recipe called for it but I don't know why you couldn't use whatever you had. I love this kind of thing when the weather cools & the less trouble the better. I hope you all like it.
