I enjoy watching her program.  She makes everything look so easy.  Also enjoy the 'what is going on at the ranch' segment.

@gmkb The ranch life interests me. They all work long, hard days. Did you know Ladd's family is the third largest private landowner in the United States?

Might that be the twenty-third largest?

I don't know. I read they were the third.

Maybe third in their state, Oklahoma.

I have all her cookbooks.  I think my favorite is her green bean casserole.  I was never  fan of the canned version, but her version with all fresh ingredients is great.

I also like her sauces that she makes from scratch.

@Group 5 minus 1 - he's so cute!

What I don't like is that her kids don't call him Uncle.  It also bothrs me that they call their great-grandmother Edna May.

I like Ree and think her children are darling.  I’ve also noticed that the kids call Ladd’s grandmother Edna May.  Wonder why?  Kinda odd.

Ladd’s mom (can’t remember her name) and Edna May  could be twins they look so much alike.

@Imaoldhippie

I've posted before that I enjoy watching her show now and again, even if I'd never fix most things she cooks.  She just cheers me up.  It's clear she loves her life, and taking care of her family.

Also, while I know many hate Walmart, if you are a fan of Ree's, you probably know she sells a lovely line of home goods at that store.

They are colorful and very pretty.

I've fallen in love with her table linens and find them to be of excellent quality in terms of wear and frequent laundering.

I've often wondered how many hired help she had for kitchen type work. Most of her tops seem to be printed and that may be because they camouflage the splatters better.

I never called my aunts and uncles "aunt" or "uncle".  I called them by their names.  Seems quite normal and just fine to me.

My husband always calls his by their title then name and it just seems silly to me.  Of  course you know they are your aunt or uncle, why do you have to keep saying it?  Woman Very Happy

Then again, I never understood why grandmothers and grandfathers had stupid nicknames.  Now that seems disrespectrul to me. . .
