I want to make red velvet woopie pies....usually I make a cake but I bought a new pie pan specifically for making woopie pies....
I was looking online about how long to bake and I noticed that the recipe for the frosting was different than what I use.....if anyone has made these little pie cookies do you think that the filling needs to be thicker than what is generally used on a cake?
My recipe does not call for cream cheese, but the recipe for the pie online uses cream cheese which makes me think the online recipe frosting would be thicker than what I use....any thoughts or advice? Thanks!!
