 Just for fun or maybe a comment  from people who have tried something like this, here's a  recipe that appeared in this week's ad for Publix grocery stores

Did some searching and found quite a bit of info about red wine in baking.

If interested, check out the Food and Wine website.

I don't drink red, only white, and have never heard of or seen any baked goods using red wine.  None using white either!!

Those cookies can do no harm.............one key ingredient is Oreo cookies !!!

Who can argue or get arrested for that???

I have several recipes saved for Red Wine Cakes...but have always been too chicken to try them!  LOL

I copied this one too!  I mean, it's a jazzed up box mix....nothing huge to lose!  ha ha

Time will tell if I get up the nerve!  They are on my 'bucket list'!

@RespectLife I just use a Ghiradelli mix, usually from Costco.  I substitute 1/2 the water with Kahlua which really isn't that much.  You could replace all of it.  I have in the past, but for some reason it bothers my stomach.
