@cherrywood

Thank you for sharing these recipes and giving credit to source of recipe. I think it's polite to give recognition for other people's hard work of coming up w/ recipes. I also like to find new sources for recipe inspirations.

Thanks again and happy New Year!

I made the Cannoli cake for Christmas and it was very good! I put actual cannoli on top for decoration.

PLANET HOLLYWOOD CHICKEN CRUNCH (Jessica fl)

1 cup captain crunch cereal

1 cup corn flakes

1 cup flour

1 T granulated onion

1 T granulated garlic

2 tsp ground black pepper

1 cup milk

2 eggs

1 lb chicken tenders or breasts cut into strips

Pulse cereal in processor or blender until consistency of fine bread crumbs.  Pour into bowl.

Combine flour, onion, garlic, pepper in second bowl.  In third bowl, beat eggs with milk.

Dredge tenders first in milk, the flour mixture, finally in bread crumbs.

Deep fry 325 degrees for 3-4 minutes until cooked through.

Serve with creole mustard.

[My note:  I always oven fry chicken and will try with this recipe next time.]

Thanks Chi-town Girl.  Then I won't be too concerned.  And a special feedback to you for some of the delicious recipes you have given us.

@cherrywood - how are you supposed to know the 'source' of older forum recipes? It could be from someone's family, a hand written one from a friend, newspaper clipping. In most cases, it was from someone or somewhere -- not a recipe created by a poster

I just find it creepy that someone follows me around the forums to post snark and demands...eewww!!!

I have lots of recipes from QVC when Hollee had the BB Recipes board with a lot of them posted over there. She posted she was taking the site down some years ago. Before she did that I copied all of them. I also have all the 2005 & 2006 Holiday recipes.

Enchilada Sauce

I have this printed out from 2015.  Simple and delicious.  Not sure who originally posted it.

1 T olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 can Swanson less sodium chicken broth (14.5 oz)
1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
1-2 T chopped chipotle chili in adobo sauce (to taste)
1 t chili powder
1 t ground cumin
1/2 t Kosher salt
1/8 t freshly ground black pepper

Heat saucepan over med heat. Add oil and garlic stirring about 1 minute. Add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer 7-10 minutes

We don't like spicy things so I omit the Chipolte and it's still good.

@CoffeeNut, This was posted by @DiAnne . It freezes well too.

I'm not seeing L'il Bit Misty.  I have many of her recipes imprisoned on a dead computer.  Her recipes were always simple.

I agree with @kate2357 .  If the info is available to you at the time you create a post, I think it's nice to acknowledge the source of the recipe.  However, there is no need to research or stress oneself if you don't have it.  I note at the end of recipes I copy,  probably 99.8% of the time, from whom or where recipes were obtained .
