I'm retired, but participated in quite a few food days (pot luck) at work over the years. I found that people always like the litle smokies in a crock pot: 2 packages of little smokies, 1 can of whole cranberries, 1 cup of Country Bob's Sauce (or barbeque sauce). Meatballs in the same sauce are also good. Quick, easy and tastes really good. Put everything in a crock pot before you leave for work and turn it on low when you get to work.

Wholeheartedly agree with @jannabelle1 !

The lil smokies, or meatballs were always the big hit!! Always first to go. And unbelievably easy to prepare, and transport. When you get to your office, plug your crockpot in on low (important) pour in ingredients and viola, - in a few hours your dish will fill the office with a delish aroma.

*2 packages beef cocktail wieners ( Lil smokies) or 32oz bag of frozen meatballs
*1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce- or
- you can also try a sweet n sour sauce,

1bottle of Chili sauce, 1 jar of grape jelly. And your desired meat choice, only 3 ingredients needed, so simple! And hungry ppl love ❤️ them. Now if you google you can find countless variations of these two sauces. Enjoy.

Ravioli Lasagna is quick and easy.  Use frozen ravioli (thawed) and bottled spaghetti sauce.  Bake in a disposable pan.

Re: Recipe for pot luck dinner at work

@Annabellethecat66 I used to bake a pan of brownies from a mix, put in one or two cans of cherry pie filling on top and then another layer of brownie mix (another box of it) on top.  You bake the whole thing again and it is wonderful!

Someone at work brought them and people loved them.  I wondered if the brownies on the bottom would overbake but they didn't!

I think she used a small 9 x 9 pan but I don't remember, and I THINK I have made them in a 9 x 13 pan too, but I'm not certain about that either.

But they were easy and good!

Re: Recipe for pot luck dinner at work

@Sooner  I'm a talker anyway.  But I get in 'funks' where I don't want to talk or see anyone.

I only answer the phone if it's one of my girls.

Today it was cold and rainy.  My friend wanted me to go out to lunch.

I said, "You know I don't leave my house when it rains".  Nope, I don't go out at all.

My daughter is like me.  She's very outgoing like I am (not always so good).

But when she gets home, she's done.  No talking, no texting nothing.

It's funny though because my two friends are not talkers.  They don't like small talk.  Yet my friend I mentioned has been my and my late husband's friend for over 50 years.

The relationship just works.....

Re: Recipe for pot luck dinner at work

@Sooner  I've never put anything but the cream cheese mixture in it.

It's tricky getting the top and bottom mixture folded just right into each other.

My daughters don't mix the two together enough and the top and bottom separate from each other.

This is very rich though (hummmm??? could it be the 1/3 cup of sugar you put in the cream cheese mixture).  Ha!

I always tell my girls "Don't watch your mom while I'm making these or you won't eat them" (So fattening).

It's GOD's joke that when we get to the age where we can buy whatever junk we want we STILL can't eat it because it will give us zits or make us fat(ter).  Ha!

Todd Wilbur's Top Secret Recipes also posts his variations of food you/we/I love from various restaurants.

It's fun to replicate them.  They do taste exactly like whatever he's mimicking.

I've given as gifts many of his books.
