Recipe Nightmares!!!

I'm sure we all have funny stories about when we were inexperienced!!! Let's have some laughs at our own expense. My mom was a terrible cook!!! It was strictly a meat and potatoes household and she just had no interest in experimenting.

There were sooooo many dishes that I never experienced until I was working full time and widened my circle of friends and also went out to dinner a lot!!! As a newleywed, I decided to make beef soup. My mother's idea of homemade soup was throwing all the leftover veggies from the fridge into a pot. At least I bought fresh veggies and prepared the soup. When DH came home, he asked if I added beef base to the meat. Also asked if I added canned tomatoes. He laughed and laughed and teased me about it for at least 2 years!!!!! Glad to say that I always learned from my mistakes!!!

Add some of yours and I will be happy to add lots more stories!!!{#emotions_dlg.w00t}
