Re: Radiatore Pasta - I love this Pasta Shape!

I like angel hair and husband prefers macaroni shape. I made Cincinnati Chile recently, used angel hair, but sauce and seasoned beef was the the same. Husband said I changed the recipe. Go figure. He was missing his little macaroni-shaped pasta.

Re: Radiatore Pasta - I love this Pasta Shape!

Last week I made a shrimp salad using radiatore pasta.  It had perfect balance against the shape of the shrimp, chopped vegetables and cubed smoked gouda.  All of those little folds will hold as much flavor as you want to put into it.

When I was a little girl my mother use to make me wagon wheels pasta. I also like bow tie pasta, it seems dressy to me!

Re: Radiatore Pasta - I love this Pasta Shape!

@alliswell Fun and interesting post! I don't think I've noticed this shape.

I like bucatini, bow-tie, and angel hair forms best.  I try to buy whole wheat pasta when I can, so it limits my (preferred) choices.
