REQUEST FOR HOMEMADE FROSTING RECIPES? THANKS!

For the first time in my life, I finally have a KitchenAid stand mixer! I promised myself when I invested in it, that I would NEVER use yucky canned frosting again! I would GREATLY appreciate recipes for delicious homemade frostings...of any and all flavors! Especially fluffy, not heavily sweet ones that any of you would have a moment to share!! DH birthday coming in Sept. and this year...the cake will totally be from scratch!! I truly thank you in advance for your help and kindness!!
