RECIPE FOR SNOWFLAKE OR DINNER ROLLS?

Anyone have a recipe for Snowflake or Dinner rolls that is easy??

I am not a baker, so not looking for a million steps lol

Also - I read a lot of you freeze your dinner rolls and just take out a few as needed.  That is what I am looking to do.

Re: RECIPE FOR SNOWFLAKE OR DINNER ROLLS?

There's a very popular dinner roll recipe that used often in my area.  It comes from a restaurant named The Lion House.  Google it and look for Lion House Rolls by the girl who ate everything.  She has a video attached.

@qvc chick ....I have a very easy recipe for dinner rolls which I posted under the September 2023 Recipe Game.

It is called Parmesan Knot Rolls....see if you can find it.  Recipe makes quite a few.  I freeze and takeout what is needed...works very well.  I will repost recipe later if needed.

Found it and sharing! Saw post by Walker in September.

They are easy to make and good; freeze well.  Makes up to 5 dozen  so good for big gatherings or freeze for different meals.  Posting recipe as found in a Taste of Home cookbook.  But....the first time I made a batch I followed the recommended temperature of 450.  I had burned bottoms.  Today I followed temperature on biscuit can of 375 and baked longer watching for them to turn golden brown...about 15-20 minutes; no burn problem.  Also, just used 1 large and 2 small cans of biscuits today...for 36 rolls. (I could not find 12 oz. cans...used 16 oz.)

PARMESAN KNOTS

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes

1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

dash of pepper

3 cans (12 oz each) refrigerated BUTTERMILK BISCUITS

Combine oil, cheese, parsley, oregano, garlic powder and pepper; set aside.  Cut each BISCUIT in half.  Roll each portion into a 6" rope; tie in a loose knot.  Place on greased baking sheets.  Bake at 450 for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown.  Remove from oven and brush with Parmesan mixture.  Serve warm or freeze up to 2 months.

**Added Note.....by "tie in loose knot" it is like making a pretzel shape.   Sorry I could not post picture.

@qvc chick If you aren't a baker, personally I'd just buy frozen ones and thaw and bake them.

I hope this went through for you, but if not just google "Hurry Up Biscuits" .  I got this from Taste of Home and they are my family's absolute favorite!   Enjoy.

Re: RECIPE FOR SNOWFLAKE OR DINNER ROLLS?

EASY 2 ingredient rolls.

1 cup of self rising flour

1/2 cup full fat Greek yogurt

Combine in a bowl and kneed for about 10 minutes.  If too sticky sprinkle with some flour.  If too dry add a little more yogurt.

Seperate dough into two equal size rolls and bake at 375 for 25 -30 minutes. You can make them smaller...just adjust the baking time.

You can double or triple recipe to make as many rolls as you need.

You MUST use self rising flour.  If you don't have any, make your own

To every cup of flour mix in 2 tea of baking powder and 1 tea salt. Mix well.

These are fast and easy.

Re: RECIPE FOR SNOWFLAKE OR DINNER ROLLS?

Mel's Kitchen Cafe blog has good recipes and I know she's got rolls on it. Easy recipes. I baked my rolls last Sunday and put them all in the freezer for this weekend.
