Go to Allrecipes and search. Or the Food Network site. I make it frequently. And we usually eat as a side dish or lunch. I like to boil in veggie stock, take off heat for about 15 minutes and then flu*ff. You can then add evoo, lemon juice, scallions, tomatoes, feta cheese, etc. Delish!

Oh and dice up those veggies/ingredients above pretty finely and it will all taste even better.

Won't let me write Flu&ff.

I made a cold salad with chickpeas, onion, quinoa, couple tablespoons of mayo and cilantro that went over very well. This cookbook also has some very good breakfast ideas.

I had it for breakfast this morning as it was in my leftover spaghetti from yesterday.

I prepare batches of quinoa and keep some out for topping salads and throw the rest in spaghetti sauce or salsa or macaroni and cheese.

I'm not Lucky, but I make a batch of quinoa almost every Monday, eat half, then eat the rest later in the week, Thursday or Friday. Don't think I've kept it longer than that, but think you could keep it a little longer. Don't think I'd be afraid to eat it even a week old as long as it didn't smell. Ha! I also think you could freeze it to eat at a later time, whether you were eating it cold or reheating.

Last year I bought a package at the supermarket. But, there was a 'musty' scent to the outside of the package...........just wondering ......... does quinoa have a 'musty', earthy scent? (I returned the package, thinking it was defected/bad.)

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

You can use it to replace rice with dinner or cereal for breakfast.

Many sites recommend making a batch and scooping some out each day. You can make a breakfast batch with milk and dried cranberries and a plain or herbed batch for dinners.

I made stir fry with mine like chicken/ham/pork/shrimp fried rice but with quinoa instead. I just cook the veggies, toss with the meat, then dump in the cooked quinoa, toss, crack an egg in, toss, throw in some sauces, and off to serve. I use leftover meats for this or just veggies.
