Do you think we could get tshirts printed up for us?  Maybe cool jackets like they had in the movie Grease for the pink ladies?

I used to listen to Dr. Joyce Meyer on the radio!  I loved her.  Haven't heard her for awhile and had no idea that anyone associated with eHarmony would appear on her show!  I was just so excited for mtc when I heard this on the news this morning!   Of course, I hope her bank job works out but thought this was such a good idea that it would take off some of the burden of looking for a job if someone else helped.  I met my DH thru match.com.  It would be wonderful if mtc found a job thru eHarmony if her bank job didn't work out!

Tell Mr. Writer that I think we should all go dancing one evening real soon!  Polish up those dancing shoes!  We are going to Lindy like tomorrow isn't coming!

LOL!

@mustang66lady

Great Idea!  I want a jacket!

OR maybe we can all get that logo tatooed!  Tee hee!

Now there's an idea

Now Respect,

The jacket or tshirt I can go along with but at tattoo!   You know those don't always end up where they start off-trust me, I'm a nurse and seen a lot of funky tattoos in over 30 years!  Not as many as my nursing sisters will in coming years with everyone tattated up!  I just wish we could get a shirt or jacket that was animated, too!

@mustang66lady

@RespectLife

I am happily tattoo free but I do find them fascinating (watch the shows on various channels all the time).

That lovely young woman who sat next to me in training class had several large tattoos and we chatted about them for a bit.  Please know I didn't get my ears pierced until I was like 30 so clearly I am a weenie in marking up my body but I can't imagine sitting still for that long or going through that kind of discomfort (not to mention the price, yikes!) . . . @mustang66lady

Ya got me twice with this post!

I have never heard of geo mesh wreaths OR morel mushrooms!

How interesting!

Where can @ChiliPepper and I sign up to try those mushrooms???

TEE HEE!

They sound like the expensive priced truffles I see on Chopped.

Hi Respect!

I don't know if morel mushrooms grow all over the U.S. or if they are a MidWest thing.  They are more meaty like portabellos.  I don't think they can be raised-I think they only grow in the wild.   The restaurant we went to on Saturday-oh my stars and garters!  The chef toasted a slice of Italian bread, placed a heaping pile of smoked morels on top and topped that with s perfectly cooked sunny side up egg.  Tasting it was like tasting Heaven!  If you have never had morel's, in this recipe, I think you would have thought they were some kind of smoked beef.

You can google geo mesh wreaths or do a search on pinterest-I started making them a couple of years ago and now make the Christmas trees, garland, etc.  It is kind of therapy-they are easy to make, are done quickly, and makes me feel like I have accomplished something!

@mustang66lady your breakfast sounds like heaven.  Would you mind if I asked the name of the restaurant as I would like to investigate their menu (I like doing that kind of thing).

I don't think I have ever seen morels up here but I'll have to double check that now . . . Smiley Happy

Re: Quick Pot Sticker Soup

[ Edited ]

mtc,

The name of the restaurant is Cleveland Heath.  It is located in town called Edwardsville, which is the county seat of Madison County, IL.   We absolutely love this place.  Everything is locally sourced.  Ed goes to the local markets and what ever is on special, becomes the special of the day.  Everything is also organic and no diet is neglectd.  If you tell your server you only  eat Paleo, they will take care of you.  Gluten free-no problem.  Vegan-Ed will fix something for you, even if it is not on the menu.  They provided the food for our daughter and son in law's wedding  reception last November.   Here is their web http://www.clevelandheath.com/

You can google finding morel mushrooms near Chicago and get a lot of results.  There is a morel mushroom festival in Ottawa, IL, which is about an hour and a half from Chicago.  There are some in Wisconsin and Michigan as well.

mtc,

This place has won a lot of awards and has gained a lot of attention from the St. Louis area.  I hope they stay in the St. Louis area although as good as they are, I'm sure they get offers from larger restaurants all the time.  The specials are not always on the menu and the menu changes regularly as well.  Like I said, whatever Ed finds in market becomes the special of the day!  You may find out more if you have FaceBook and look there.  This is the place that got me to like Brussels Sprouts!

Tee hee @mustang66lady apparently we are sorely lacking in morels up here in DuPage County as we only have two mushroom sighting on their Facebook page but luckily we have a lot of grocery stores that carry more exotic items so I am now on the hunt . . . Smiley Happy

Unless of course they are too expensive but I would just like to see them up close.

In fact, I am going to add that to my grocery list and come up with something that tastes similar!!

And a green guy...I am going to make DH try that David V egg w/ avocado cream recipe I've been dying to make!

DH gets an email alert that it is free 'something' weekend.

Between all the free wkends of the different channels (max, hbo, showtime, etc)

why on earth pay for those channels?  LOL

I only found a few things to record...and only one was new.  San Andreas,  GAG

A classic example of why I never PAY to go to the movies.  LOL

So ridiculous!  But DH loves the Rock even if the storyline and screen writing is horrible!  As long as things explode, he is happy!  Mildly entertaining but SO glad I didn't pay for it!

I recorded some of my favorite movies (OLD ones, that I can't believe they are still showing on a PREMIUM channels)

This way they won't have commercials!  I have most on DVD but who wants to get up in the middle of an insomnia night to find a DVD?  LOL

Now my stash of movies is on the TV permanently.

And besides...who remembers how to use that DVD player anyways!

Oh @RespectLife I had to double back and find this post as it made me laugh out loud this morning . . . I am not a movie renter/watcher so when HBO is free I kind of binge (at least for me).

Normally movies like the Jurassic Park sequel would have never appealed to me but since it was free I watched it (and of course felt sorry for the raptors) and I did notice and stopped for a moment on that San Andreas movie but took a pass on it.  Now I am sorry I didn't record it as that could have been a giggle.

This morning I got a late start on my day as a Jack Nicholson movie caught my attention (Blood and Wine).  It was a fine movie with a great cast but again I never would have paid for it.

I always enjoy catching up on some of my favorite HBO shows but someone needs to explain Game of Thrones to me (although I have to say I did enjoy many of the episodes I watched yesterday to try and somewhat catch up and last night's episode was interesting).  The only character I personally find compelling is the blonde with the dragon . . . @momtochloe

Sorry, can't help you with 'Game of Thugs"  Thugs?  Thrones?  Thongs?

Anyways, never saw it!

My kids say I have NO taste in movies (I LIKE Tyler Perry movies!)  Right back at 'em.  They find the STUPIEST movies funny.  Greek Wedding #1 is the last movie I can even remember laughing at!

I will watch most of anything, once...if it is FREE!

Now don't laugh at me...this past weekend I taped Van Helsing and Last of the Mohigans.  I love those movies!  LOL  I have also watched Troy about a thousand times...and both of the first two The Mummy movies!  The 3rd was SO bad.

I did tape the Jurassic movie.  Saw it on netflix (meh) but DH wanted to watch it again.  I was very disappointed the buggers did EAT the nasty girl from The Help.

She was so evil in that movie...she def. deserved to get eaten by anything in her next movie!

I still have a couple newbies I taped the last time they were free...Runner, Runner?

and Focus.  I just deleted Aloha after about an hour.  Yucko.

Yesterday, I caught up on a few football games I taped from December!  tee hee

Just goes to show what I think of today's lineup of network shows.  Absolutely do NOT watch any.  Although I will admit to a bit of a love affair w/ Judge Judy!  LOL  She is SO sassy!

As I mentioned, I am currently taping Underground and The Spring Baking Championship.  Did watch Better Call Saul  and actually purchased Breaking Bad.  But those aren't the 3 main networks.

My DD is trying to get me into Walking Dead but it would take me forever to catch up on missed episodes!

Oh rats!  So sorry about your ill vehicle but SO glad nothing tragic happened!

That def. could have been a dangerous situation.

Don't ya just hate it?  Another bill ya don't really see coming.
