Ok folks, here is my Day Three Recap . . .

Body count:  down 2 more (we started at 27 and are now down to 18).

Most folks are completely overloaded and overwhelmed and then they announced they are turning us lose on LIVE CALLS starting Friday.  With three and a half days worth of training on at least four different systems and good news we get to learn a new one tomorrow (probably not me though because I am not in the advanced group, thank goodness).

I knew what to expect as I have worked with call centers but we never let folks on the phone with so little training.  I am truly stunned but if that's the gig then I am up for it.  The worst that can happen is I get canned and they were nice enough to not schedule me during a blackout period (no one gets time off) as I had said up front I had tickets to a Taste of Home show so I am grateful for that plus if by some miracle I do finally catch on there is overtime so I would love the extra money.

It will just never cease to amaze me how companies kind of gloss over what I consider to be the most important component in their arsenal.  CS makes you angry, you go elsewhere.  Sigh.

No pennies on the ground today so I think my dad has officially handed me off as he should.

@VaBelle35 thank you for your kind words and yes that is exactly what I was thinking/hoping for.  Learning the business from this side is a fabulous start to shoving my way back into IT or a PM position (don't care what side of the equation I may be on).

Martha Stewart just posted these pictures of her new precious babies.

This is Creme Brulee (who she says "replaces" her Sharkey who passed away last fall, but I don't think she meant it quite that way, I'm sure the Twitterverse will pounce on her appropriately for that and she will put the smackdown right back on them in the only way Martha can).

@VaBelle35 good heavens I love that woman!  Those little puppies are the bomb (I didn't realize she had lost Sharkey, my condolences as I know how she loved him.  I would just laugh that he would sit on that stool while she was cooking in the kitchen).

Hi mtc, sounds like another eventful day for you! Wow, real calls so soon, that is something. Hopefully, they will field the calls & just pass regular orders on to you guys.

@ChiliPepper holy cats, thank you so much for flagging this as these posts never showed up when I logged in this afternoon, I would have missed Petra altogether!  Ugh, sometimes this site really tries my patience . . .

What a beautiful baby girl, a combination of my beloved Chloe and my much alligned but equally loved Lucy . . . I would love to have her on my lap anyday.  I am so happy for you @RespectLife and of course for the Perfect Petra!
