Well the groceries have already been delivered and put away.  Sincere thanks to the Gods of Groceries that I received both the burramandi(?) and the bottom round I ordered so I have some cooking choices to make for the weekend.

Ninja Air Fryer Update:  The dehydration feature is the bomb!  I like those Lighthouse brand of dehydrated herbs and the one store that carried them around here dropped them (boo) but I diced up a bunch of green onions and let 'er rip . . . four hours later, dried onions!  Quick lesson learned, stock up on potential items you want to dehydrate when they are in season as it's a bit stunning when you first peek in the basket and wonder where the rest of the stuff went . . . hee!

I have a dehydrator on my oven  and they do get smaller. LOL. I also have a slow cook feature too.

Out of curiosity, what brand and type of oven do you have?  I may be in the market soon or at least in the near future and would like recommendations from all.

@mustang66lady, My ovens are Electrolux double wall ovens. Both are equal in size and each one has all features.

Well, we did get some flurries to stick for a while on Sat and this morning...but they are gone now.

Quick update: . . . They're on the truck, they're on the truck!  I am so excited!  Now I just need to narrow down what sides I am going to make but whew I am so glad those things finally are in route!

Only I could over-engineer Thanksgiving for one this bad . . .

anyone doing anything new for Thanksgiving?

I'm going to smoke the sweet pots this year.  Already tried it and it is so good!

dice them, coat in melted butter with honey and HONEY BOURBON!  The  smoke them!

I'm also going to add a cor n casserole from Carlsbad Cravings. Kinda similar to a Spoon Bread which I have made previously.  Her recipe just amps it up a bit w/ a nice amount of cheese.
