My sis has tornado warnings and is in the basement as instructed!
My niece is taking cover (no basement)
Say some prayers!
@RespectLife I have been downstairs too. My power went out yesterday around 2:30 and I am just getting it back. Google Raleigh damage from yesterday. Yep that was fun, NOT. I am not a live off the grid person LOL. I am going to go make a pot of nice hot coffee that I missed this morning and wrap up in the electric blanket a few minutes. Good Heavens, rough stuff.
Oh gracious @tiny 2
I'm so glad you are okay! Zeesh, terrible weather everywhere!
I just got back from a sloppy lunch, I sure could use to snuggle up next you w/ a hot coffee and we could watch an old movie and stay safe!
@RespectLifeI got through the storm pretty lucky compared to many. We had one woman that a tree and power lines fell on her car and crushed it with her inside. The power was live so it was probably a blessing that she was trapped. People get electrocuted when they exit the vehicle. After the power company got there and stopped the power they were able to slowly lift the tree enough to pull her out. She is one lucky woman. We had a wind warning yesterday for most of the day and I had a tree to fall with that. Heavy sigh![]()

Good morning @tiny 2 , I am glad you are back "on the grid" (oh goodness I so agree!!!). So lucky for that woman, oh goodness that must have been so frightening! How are you doing today? Did you also have a tree fall in that awful weather? So glad at least your power is back on and your coffee is steaming hot! ![]()
@ChiliPepper how are you doing? This site is so wonky, so many people are having the same problem you are having (I just have the screen jumping around issue right now). How was your drive home as I heard you were getting socked with snow? Hope you are safe and warm my friend! . . . ![]()

Wear red today. celebrate National Pizza Day two days from now.
Haven't had a good old slurpy pizza in about two years. Think maybe it's time to splurge.
I'll wear red on Pizza Day, too, so the tomato sauce stains won't show so much!!
Hee @novamc1 I knew Sunday was National Pizza Day as the Planet Fitness I joined is having free pizza and bagels this Sunday (I love this place already, too bad I haven't managed to make it over there yet). ![]()
Sigh.

@momtochloeNo I was so lucky considering the amount of old trees. I think it helped that the leaves are off.

Oh so that's what snow looks like . . . it's been so long since got had some real snow (not that micro stuff we've had this year) but this is can't see across the street snow. And then in a couple of hours it's going to turn into rain and make one big gloppy mess . . . sigh.
Hope everyone is safe and warm today. ![]()

Oh gosh @tiny 2 that is just scary!
I never thought about exiting being dangerous! I'd probably be trying to kick out a window or something.
Thank the Lord she is okay!
