mustang66lady, I truly cannot thank you enough for your lovely words. I have had my hands full for quite some time and hopefully the coming days/weeks/months will be a much brighter picture. I love the positive thoughts and support of this thread. Whether the support is directed at you or not, it is always good to hear and know that there are folks out there that care. Thank you again for the kind words and ladies thanks to you to all of you. You have no idea how much I appreciate all of you!

Hi momtochloe, I'm glad you "jumped in" also. It's great having more "Kitchenettes"!
I see skyblue chimed in yesterday also. Welcome skyblue!

Good to see you again too Chili. I very much look forward to sharing with you and the rest of the Kitchenettes! I love hearing everyone's thoughts and ideas about recipes and spices especially from Penzy's and the Spice House. Thank you so much for the warm welcome!

Chili,
Thanks so much for you kind words. I have been blessed with two daughters, the oldest 34 and then my 26 year old. I was blessed even more with a step daughter when she turned 14 and she is now 24. Each of them is special to me and as they grow older and have graduated and moved from home, each passing birthday brings a certain amount of sadness, but more happiness than sad. I was just having a "moment" when I wrote that last evening. I hope you enjoy the high school years with your daughter as much as I did mine, but a word of warning, keep your trays in the upright and locked position, fasten your seat belt, and hold on! Those years fly by so fast! My selfishness is silly compared to what Respect is going thru though, but it was very sweet of you to comment, none the less.
Writer,
How is the weather where you are? The storms stayed south of us; we just got a lot cooler and expect frost tonight but no rain until Friday. I haven't seen a weather report since early this morning but only caught the local weather. Hope and pray you are out of danger now, but please let us know for sure. You and Respect have been on my heart and mind and in my prayers all day.

Dear Mustang,
You are such a dear, sweet person. So far we have missed two storm systems with no damage today. Another one is supposed to come through around midnight and early in the morning. An even stronger system may come through tomorrow afternoon/evening as well. We'll know more about that storm tomorrow morning. I cannot tell you how much your prayers mean to me. God bless you! Be sure to let me know what I can lift up for you.

Writer,
You dear person! I'm so sorry these storms have not left your area but I am praying that you and yours, and all in the storms' path remain safe. I am sure you have called to mind Matthew 8:23-27. Peace, be still to the storms.
Since I don't know where you live, I am going to ask if these storms are infrequent to your area or do you endure them on a regular basis like we do here? If not, please ask any questions you need to ready yourself for future storms. If you are as used to them as you can be (as we are), then I know you know how to prepare. I am 58 and still can get un-nerved when the tornado and severe weather sirens sound off. I more than understand what you may be feeling. Please try to rest peacefully knowing Who is in charge of those storms and that His mighty hand will hold you all. I may never meet you here on this earth but do plan on meeting some day in the Promised Land!
Keep us informed!

Respect,
I am guessing you are exhausted tonight and certainly don't expect you to respond to anything now or even in the next few days but just want you to know you and your precious Mother are being lifted up in prayer. Peace be yours when you rest and especially when called upon to make difficult decisions.
