@mustang66lady I have to say I am so lucky as the air didn't kick on until after 10am but please know I run it very high as it is very, very old but still works brilliantly (shout out to whomever manufactured that unit my friends, thank you and God bless).

We are lucky that it just doesn't feel as hot as it should (I just went to get the mail and I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't hit with that wall of heat and humidity you usually encounter in this type of weather.

How is the flooding in your area?  I checked your weather and it seems that rain is going to be your friend for the next couple of days . . . good thoughts and prayers to you mustang!

Heat Wave

• 1 1/4 oz Coconut Rum

• 1/2 oz Peach Schnapps

• 3 oz Orange Juice

• 3 oz Pineapple Juice

• 1/2 oz Grenadine

Directions

Add all ingredients (except grenadine) to a parfait glass 1/2 filled with ice cubes.

Top with grenadine.

Garnish with a fresh slice of peach, and serve.

Today is Friday, but not fabulous....I feel like poor @VaBelle35..5000 fires to put out today!  Everything I touch turned to do-do!

BUT Thank the Lord, I finally had a second to come here for peace and calm.

It brought me to Page 22 where we continued w/ Easter, a new poster loved the Potsticker soup and @mustang66lady still had storms!

BTW-so happy you are pleased with the results of your surgeries!

I am joyous that Rodney is doing better.  Yes @Writer with Flair, from what I know firsthand of these types of horrific events...it will be a long recovery.  But our guy has healed wonderfully through much therapy and additional surgeries.  Again, bless you and Mr. Writer for your supporting the family!  Thanks for the update!
