Thank you for the party! I'm having a great day and going out for dinner tonight with family. I'm doing well but did manage to fracture my wrist and hand in a fall, however it is doing ok, better soon.

Now that it is a little cooler I want to empty my storage unit out since they decided to go wayyyy up in price to $450.00 a month . I have some help so it will go fairly quickly for the boxes and my previous mover will take care of getting the remaining pieces of furniture and rugs here.

I will spend Oct. and most of Nov. at the mountain house. I'm going to go to Colonial Williamsburg after they start decorating for Christmas. They do all fresh natural decor pretty much daily because the birds & squirrels have a lovely time pecking at all the fruits and nuts. One of my nurse friends from school eons ago will be going with me. She has never been and I have not seen it when they were doing Christmas decorations.

We will be back in the 90's in a couple of days ugh(98 on Tues) so I will be so very glad when the weather really turns cool.

So happy to read you have had a good day and prayers for a fast healing for you.  I'm glad you have help and that a friend is going to spend some time with you.  Holidays are heading towards us fast; great to start the season with your special day!

Happy happy Saturday!!! Beautiful day here, slightly cooler & a light breeze.

Making a "concoction" today, not sure what it is yet LOL! Last night it got a little cool - I even put on a sweatshirt - so if that holds true this might taste good/cozy later.

So far I have chicken, onions, garlic, celery, carrots, corn, potatoes, jalapeños......

I guess it's a soup/stew.

Wow, that is a lot for a montly storage, I don't blame you for ending that!!

I would love to go to Colonial Williamsburg again some day!  Mom took us as a kid, and to be honest, I didn't appreciate it!  LOL

I bet it is fantastic during the holidays!  Keep us posted!!

We are finally get summer this week, so no soup for me for a bit.

We smoked a lot this weekend.  Ribs and wings!

Tried a new BBQ sauce called Sticky Fingers.  SO GOOD!

That looks delish, but kinda small.

Our latest pizza has been zucchini pizza!

Cut into rounds and saute lightly.

Put in baking dish.

Top each round w/ pizza sauce, add your choice of small chopped toppings....cover w/ shredded mozz cheese and melt in the oven!!

So easy and very good.  I know it isn't pizza....but sure mimics it very well!
