I don't know if Lady Gaga ever had a costume made from plastic wrap but I do remember Kathy Bates in one.......
from Fried Green Tomatoes!
Miss Mustang,
I am duely impressed, Young Lady! I saw that movie a long time ago and loved it. I am drawing a blank, however, on when Kathy Bates wore this outfit in the movie. Refresh my memorie, if you don't mind.
By the way, how is the scar tissue situation? Are you done with your therapy? How is your dear grandson? You all are in my prayers.
Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite!

Writer,
You sweetheart! You are such an encouraging person! Everyone here is. How I wish we could all be neighbors!
Kathy Bates was trying to rekindle her husband's attention to her in Fried Green Tomatoes. She would fix these wonderful Southern dinners, and he would come home from work, grab his plate and plant his behind in front of the t.v., not paying any attention to her. I forgot who or what suggested greeting your spouse wrapped in plastic wrap but she tried and it failed, too! I think I would have been in a panic attack myself, wrapped up in plastic!
Yes, I am done with going to physical therapy but still do some at home. My scar tissue has greatly decreased and the discomfort it caused has also greatly decreased. I am not as faithful with the P.T. as I should be but I feel it is at a "normal" point and will resolve on its' own. If I think about it, I grab my exercise marble or silicon and work with it. And I play with my playdough to help with the dexterity. Thank you so much for asking and for the prayers. I have been truly favored and blessed.
My daughter and grandson will be moving in a couple of weeks about an hour drive from here. That sounds bad but it is only an hour drive because of traffic. It will be 8 miles from where she works in MO. This way she will not have to pay taxes to two states and in bad weather she will not have to drive as far or thru rural areas to get to work. I am already missing him and have been spoiling him all this week. No candy or soda, but other things he loves to eat, and play with. I think their last day of school is the 27th but not sure why this Friday is not their last day. Today was the last day for several other schools in our area and Friday is the last day for several others.
Pray you and Mr. Writer sleep peacefully. Prayers to all for peace tonight and always.

Happy Thankful Thursday everyone.
I'm thankful that the little boy didn't get seriously hurt yesterday.
I hope I can get through today and spend the weekend resting up.

Good morning my friends and yes as @VaBelle35 said it is a Thankful Thursday!
I of course am thankful for the job fair today. I am also thankful for the coupon I received from a small hamburger chain here (started by two retired McDonald's executives) as they are launching their answer to the Shake Shack burger so after the job fair that will be my lunch . . . yum!
@VaBelle35 I hope both the little boy and the dog are/will be ok. It does sound like a tragic accident but I know the animal usually gets the short end of the stick in erring on the side of caution. That is such a shame for everyone and so frightening for the little one. Again, I hope he is ok.

Wow, I'm overwhelmed after reading someone actually thinks of holding a Tupperware party just for me, because I've been deprived all these years.
Well........here are the facts, all you nice ladies:
1. I'm always up for a party! BUT..............
2. The last thing I need is more stuff in my cupboards. I'm fully stocked and trying to reconcile myself to getting rid of some, because we're moving in Sepember to a new home.
Party, YES.!
More kitchen gadgets and storage containers, thanks but NO!
On this thankful Thursday, I'm thankful to be able to enjoy the humor on this thread, and thankful that I have no more room for Tupperware or anything else; otherwise, I'd probably be out there, tracking it down and spending money on it.

I love it!
You are BRILLIANT! If it works, you stand to make a million! You better patent that idea fast!!!
Saran wrap around my head! I am trying it tonight!
I am going to try it on the nanners though as I dislike soft, ripe nanners!
I have a jar with a choppy thing AND I have an ORIGINAL Chop-0-matic! I used to use it all the time until I got that Kuhn R. Pull Choppy thing!

I have one of these but I don't think I like it (it's been awhile LOL). Mine is another brand.
