Helpful would be sharing an alternative recipe using less of whatever ingredient...say sugar or fat. Not everyone follows the same way of eating. If someone needs or follows gluten free way of eating, they may have a recipe for a quick bread with gf ingredients. People who follow keto have their alternatives, etc etc.
Unhelpful is exclaiming OH NO!....that's too much of X....no way I am making THAT recipe, without giving an alternative.

Thank you @Dom23 for your versatile recipe. My intention is to make the pumpkin loaf. I have never understood people who come out here and rip apart recipes. Let them set up a picket line outside a bakery if they are opposed to sweets!

I just saw a pumpkin bread recipe from Sally's Baking Addiction (Website) which listed 1/2 cup of white sugar Plus 3/4 cup Light Brown or Dark Brown Sugar which is 1 1/4 cups of Sugar for One Loaf of Quick Bread and it also contained a 1/4 cup of orange juice!!! Which is of course loaded with sugar, So Before anyone continues to come after me, Where is the outrage over these other recipes????
This is a recipe that I use from other home chefs not my creation yet the keyboard warriors over here are roasting me, Whaaaaat???
This is non-sense.... Thank you to those who responded kindly...
I didn't realize one recipe could cause people to have a mental breakdown.
For those who have an issue with the ingredients, You have the issue, clearly.
Don't bake it...

Many years ago my elderly neighbor gave me her banana bread recipe (my children were huge fans!!). I added a handful of chocolate chips, some might like chopped nuts, and baked it as muffins. Back then I had a home daycare and served all varieties of muffins. Without a doubt, Edit's Banana Bread (muffins) was everyone's favorite!!!
EDITH'S BANANA BREAD
1/4 cup soft butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 large eggs
3 large, ripe bananas, mashed
2 cups flour
1 t soda
(2/3 cup chocolate chips, or 2/3 cup chopped nuts - optional)
Cream butter with sugar, making it light and fluffy. Mix in eggs and bananas. Stir flour and soda together. Add dry ingredients to banana mixture, blending well. Fold in chips. Place in oiled baking container - makes 1 large loaf, 3 small loaves, or 12 regular muffins.

Please give the baking temp and time for three small (temptation) loaves and if you have ever substituted fruits for this recipe.

For the Initial Recipe that I posted:
If you want to make say Blueberry Lemon; use the applesauce listed plus 1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries and sub lemon extract for the vanilla....
I have also used dried craisins and vanilla extract with the applesauce base. I was out of orange extract for cran-orange bread....
For the temptations loaf pans, I use the Wilton Mini pans and I bake my mini loaves at 330 degreees for 30-35 minutes. I bake mine in my Kitchenaid Toaster Oven and this time and temp works for me...I usually check after 30 minutes, toothpick test the top...
