Question about the herb Chocolate Mint

My son and DIL gave me the herb Chocolate Mint (Mentha x piperita) for Mother's Day. The leaves smell wonderful--just like chocolate mint.

What can I do with this herb? Any suggestions? Recipes?

TIA

Re: Question about the herb Chocolate Mint

Make hot tea.

Use it in iced tea.

Thanks, gonnab.

Do I have to dry the leaves or just steep the green leaves? TIA

Re: Question about the herb Chocolate Mint

Clip enough leaves to half fill your cup. Pour in boiling water, and steep for at least five minutes. Spoon out the leaves and sip.

This is when it is handy to have a small French press...another fun herb is pineapple sage. That is great chopped up and added to a pound cake recipe.

How about adding to brewed coffee?
