I love the convenience of crockpot cooking and love how tender meat comes out!
But, I have a question.
I did a pork roast recently with carrots, potatoes, etc. I used Liptons dried onion soup to give it some taste. However, I did not care for the brown broth it seemed to produce --- the heavy flavor of it was not pleasant to me or what I wanted.
I seem to have trouble figuring out what to add to the crockpot when I do a roast or something to add nice light flavor but not anything heavy or overpowering.
Also, I like a nice light broth when I do a roast - whether it be beef, pork or whatever and I do vegetables with it, as I like it to be sort of like a stew.
What do you add for your seasonings?
Thanks!!
