I  am seeing this ingredient in many recipes lately.  Has anyone used them?  I have also seen recipes to make your own although they take WEEKS to ferment.  Has anyone made preserved lemons?

I have seen them in the store, but have not tried them for cooking.  I guess if you have a tree, use the ingredient a lot and have spare jars it would be worthwhile.  Give it a go!

They sound very intriguing but they are super salty too. Never tasted them before but don't think I will. Prefer fresh
