Potatoe Help??

I would like to know if you cooks out here can help me? I want to know how to cut,cook and and what kinds of potatoes you bake? I have tried little reds and russet in the oven with dried spices and oil. My problem is I'm not sure how long to cook and at what temperature I should use. Can you please help me?
