I came across this seasoning mix today while wandering through recipes on the web. Does anyone here use this on a regular basis?  Do you use it on anything other than potatoes? I was looking for recipes using it but came up empty. I don't find potatoes all that boring but am always looking fun seasonings. It's $6.98 at Walmart.

@PA Mom-mom  I've never used it, but if you go to their web page there are recipes listed.  Go to fireandsmokesociety dot com.

@LdyBugz  Did I have a typo on my first posting?

Mmmmm.  I just looked at that website that @LdyBugz suggested.  These spices and rubs look really good.  Some great recipes too!

With regards to the potato slayer seasoning mix, I'd love to try it in potato salad or on french fries like the website suggessted.  I didn't see any recipes for it per se.

Fun website!

@Citrine1  I did see one or two chicken rub recipes that suggested several rubs, including Potato Slayer. It is an interesting website. Thanks @LdyBugz

@PA Mom-mom   No no no!  You didn't have a typo!  😀  I'm the guilty one!  You can only edit your own post, not someone else's.

Re: Potato Slayer Seasoning Mix

I also visited the website. I'm a bit surprised that the flavor profile for Potato Slayer indicates it is a 'spud-specific' seasoning.  Seems that limits its sale potential.

Never heard of Potato Slayet until reading this post.  I am familiar with Onion Butter, another of F&SS's product.  Because I watch my sodium intake, I haven't purchased it (and now discovery of their State Fair Pickle and Cheese Batter),  but I really want to try and may just purchase in spite of their salt content.

I think the Potato Slayer would enhance cooking zucchini since some of the Potato Slaher ingrefients (garlic, onion, and dill weed) are used in preparing zucchini-- at least I use).
