Sorry about that typo....it should be 1/4 cup water.   

 

I have updated the original post to reflect the correction.

 

Also is you like you can use the microwave to heat the liquids to dissolve the sugar, that way you can use one bowl to make the sauce and not have to clean up an extra pot.
