Pork and sourkraut for New Years Day.

I am wondering if any of you fabulous cooks have an idea to make my traditional pork and sourkraut dinner extra yummy? I usually do the roast, kolbassi and kraut in the oven and add dumplings when everything is almost ready to come out of the oven. I am just seeking that little "something extra" to make the traditional meal memorable. This is our familie's traditional New Years Day dinner. Thanks in advance, ladies!
