Polynesian Spareribs

1 cup catsup

1 cup soy sauce

1 cup maple syrup

2 pkgs. country style spareribs

1/2 of an onion...sliced

1 lemon...sliced

Put ribs in a shallow pan with just a little water in the bottom of the pan.. Bake at 350* for 1 hour. Drain. Mix catsup, soy sauce and water in a pan. Heat on very low and keep sauce warm. Put a little bit of water in the pan. Begin to baste ribs with the sauce. Bake for about another hour and a half, basting frequently the last half hour. the last half hour of baking, place the onion and lemon slices on top of the ribs. Serve with cooked rice and then pour the remaining sauce over the ribs and rice.

******At the end, I will also put some some pineapple tidbits on the top******
