Thanks for both the Rice recipe and also the Rice/Pork Chop recipe that were posted here. They both look great and I intend to make both of them.
To the couple of folks who feel the need to lecture and scold about what/how the rest of us should eat, please just take care of yourself. If you don't like a recipe, it's pretty easy to just move on without leaving a negative comment.

Some of the comments about the amount of 'butter' are hilarious....and to those posters, I say ''Maybe you need to just run on over to the "WELLNESS'' board ! hahahahahha

Speak for yourself! I for one, WILL be eating this recipe 3 times a day.
Breakfast: Will soak with heavy cream and add maple syrup and more butter.
Lunch: Wll add cheap bologna (fried in more butter, of course) along with ohhhh, maybe 3 or 4 cups of full-fat cheese of your choice.
Dinner: Rice dish as is: with 14 oz. rib eye with herb butter, four 8 oz. lobster tails (with butter) and one sauteed brussels sprout. Each.
Geesh, I've forgotten dessert and snacks! Hmm...maybe a bread pudding using the rice dish and enough brown sugar, eggs, heavy cream, bourbon, and more butter to cut the taste of onions and beef.
Oh, and eggnog with every meal. With bourbon.
