1 (7 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1 lb. pork sausage
1 cup small curd cottage cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup pizza sauce
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
2 tsp. oregano
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup sour cream

Cool macaroni; rinse and drain.
Brown meat, onion and green pepper.
Add remaining ingredients and cooked macaroni.
Pour into a 3 quart casserole.
Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese.
Bake 45 minutes covered and 15 minutes uncovered, at 350*.
Serves 6-8.
