Pink Lemonade Cookies using Cake Mix - Part 2

Update on the Pink Lemonade Gooey Butter Cookie blog. Here in San Diego i've search everywhere looking for the Pink Lemonade cake mix used for these cookies (last year 2012) and found 10 boxes that i wrapped and froze thanks to everyone heres infomation.

I've contacted the cake company and they mentioned i needed to contact JM Smuckers who will be selling this. Rcvd letter today Feb 2012 from Smuckers that it's seasonal for spring and summer and will be continued again this year. Yes!!!

I've been hoarding my frozen cake mixes but i'm so relieved that i can continue to make these fabulous cookies using this cake mix. I've tried from-scratch recipes and i just haven't gotten it right so i will continue with the mixes. Thanks for this blog, everyone's ideas are fantastic. Love the info updates on who bought what where....I also found mixes at our Big Lots store after the Vons had them on clearance.

Happy Hunting this year, i'll post when i find them again!
