Pineapplets

1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple

1 Tablespoon UNFLAVORED gelatin

2 cups sugar

1 Tablespoon lemon juice

1 cup walnuts...chopped

Drain pineapple into a measuring cup. Add enough cold water to make 1/2 cup. Stir in gelatin. Combine pineapple and sugar in a saucepan. Boil while stirring for 20 minutes or til thick (about 224 degrees) Remove from heat. Stir in gelatin mixture., lemon juice and nuts. Pour into a buttered 8 inch square pan. Cool. Refrigerate overnight to harden. Cut into squares and roll in powdered sugar before serving. Makes 64 one inch squares.
