Dill Pickle Dip Recipe

Tina Verrelli – epicuricloud.com

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8-ounce) package Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh minced dill
  • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles (I like to use the refrigerated type pickles)
  • 1-2 tablespoons pickle juice (from jar)

Directions:

You can mix with a hand mixer w/turbo beaters or a stand mixer w/flex edge beater.

I have made with both my KitchenAid Hand Mixer and my KitchenAid Stand Mixer.

First mix the cream cheese until it is very smooth.  Add the sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and dill.  Add in the pickles and as much pickle juice as you would like and mix until just combined.

I've never heard of this. To me it's just 😛 icky sounding, LOL, cuz I don't like pickles, but my sister LOVES them and cans them galore. So i think I'll surprise her with this dip next time we visit. She's a dip queen, too. Thanks!

thank you very much for the reply.  The way the girls were raving about it today on David’s show, I have to try it out.

@TheMemphisVette

Thank you very much for taking the time to post this for everyone!!

I also heard them talking about this dip and couldn't find it.  I was spelling her last name correctly either.

Thanks again, appreciate it!

Also tell her @KitTkat that in June Sonic is introducing a new slush, Pickle.  I got a tweet from them about two weeks ago.  Not for me but my DDL thinks it would be great. I too have never heard of this dip but it does sound tasty.

I have made this pickle dip and liked it very much.  I had my reservations at first but I must admit it is very addictive.  Yum!
