I've had this recipe in my paper files for years, but decided it is time to put it in my computer files, so am posting it here for any interest it might attract; it looks so simple and yet so good. Rosauer's is a great supermarket chain in Spokane, and probably elsewhere in Washington State.

Rosauer’s Parmesan Peas

(2) 10-oz pkg frozen peas, thawed
3-0z can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 c grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 c butter, melted
1/4 c chopped onion
1/4 c chopped parsley
1/2 t salt
1/4 t pepper

Preheat oven to 350 deg F. Combine all ingredients in oven casserole; stir gently to mix. Cover and bake 25-30 min or until peas are tender. Serves 4-6

To microwave: follow above directions except do not thaw peas. Cover and microwave on high 15-17 min, breaking peas apart halfway through cooking. If your microwave doesn’t have a turntable, turn the dish periodically.

Have you posted this before? Hubby made peas last night and I had parmesan on the brain.

No, I guess you were just having a 'psychic' moment. {#emotions_dlg.mellow}

Thanks for the recipe! That sounds really good, and I am not even a huge fan of peas! I would like them like this, though!

I agree with Sunshine45, I will make without mushrooms! Sounds good. Thanks

This is a great recipe! When I was a teenager I discovered that peas and parm cheese are awesome together. No one around me was convinced though. People said it sounded gross but boy were they wrong, it will change the way you feel about peas if you don't like them!
