RickyRocky, I am making your Milk Cake for Easter! Thanks, again, for sharing the recipe on the "What can you make with Sweetened Condensed Milk?" thread!
I plan on making it the night before and refrigerating it. I was thinking of putting the Cool Whip on the next day, since sometimes Cool Whip can get a little funny when put on early. So, I would follow the recipe through putting on the crushed pineapple and then refrigerate until the next morning.
What has been your experience with this? Have you made it the day before and just put the Cool Whip on and refrigerated it, or did you put the Cool Whip on when about to serve?

P.S. I also was wondering about how far apart you make the holes in the baked cake with the wooden spoon handle. I recall doing one inch intervals for the Jello Poke Cake (a long time ago!). Thanks!
