Yes, It might be the problem.

What size pans would they be instead of a 15 Incher?

Or do I stretch the dough so very thin to fit it?

@Flatbush     About a pound ball of dough for a 15" pan.    How thin you stretch it is up to you!     di

@RedTop

Yes, it does look as if that might well be the problem and the solution. Or, maybe I can half the recipe. That would be the simplest.

You can also use one of THESE if you want to make "mini" pizzas:

@Desertdi

Oh, never saw these. They would make a good alternative for the extra dough if I have too much for the pizza pan. Thanks.

@Flatbush  Yes, sure you could. I use this recipe when I make deep dish too. Just remember you will have the best luck getting a crispy crust with a well heated stone than anything else.

Re: PIZZA MAKERS...NEED HELP

Since I used to make pizza crust, I'm reading these recipes with interest. This is what I use now, though.

DH makes pizza with dough he makes in the bread machine.

When finished he rolls it out on floured countertop to fit a pan that interior measures 14".

Form dough into mound & let cool 10 mins.

Stretch & press dough to fit pan. Pinch edge to form small rim. Add sauce & toppings. Cook at 450° about 15-20 mins. Only takes about 15 mins in our oven. The recipe calls for 450° cook temp but DH uses the air fryer mode so he cooks it at 425° & pre-cooks crust for 4 mins at 425°.

The 1 lb recipe yields one 14" thin crust pizza.

2/3 cup water

2 cups AP flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 Tbls olive oil

2 tsp sugar

2 tsp yeast

BBQ Chicken Pizza with bbq sauce, chicken, bacon, onions, white cheddar, mozzarella
