This is a good & festive appetizer and can be made ahead.

PECAN CHEESE BALL

2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened; 1 (8-oz) can crushed pineapple, drained; 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper; 2 Tbsps finely chopped onion; 2 tsps seasoned salt; and 2 cups chopped pecans, toasted & divided.

Combine first 5 ingrediens; stir in 1 cup pecans. Cover & chill until firm.

Shape mixture into a ball; roll in remaining 1 cup pecans. Place cheese ball on a serving platter; serve with crackers & strips of green bell pepper & red bell pepper. Cheese ball should be about 5 inches.
