Our Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies

/></div> <div class=

This is our go-to recipe. I made a batch this week. I don't mix in the nuts because my sons prefer no nuts. I just put some untoasted walnuts on top for my husband and myself and everyone is happy! lol

Melt butter in microwave and add to sugar mixture. Stir until well combined. Add vanilla and eggs and stir until well mixed. In a separate bowl sift together flour, baking soda, salt, wheat germ and flaxseed. Add dry ingredients to the wet and stir until just combined. The dough will be stiff. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Stir until just combined to avoid tough cookies. Drop dough onto sheets with small ice cream scoop or large spoon. Bake 12-14 minutes or until edges and tops of cookies are golden brown. Cool on wire racks.</p> <p>makes about 24-26 big cookies</p> <div id=
