We've been getting some really good oranges lately.  I've been getting both navel and cara cara oranges for a decent price. Does anyone have some good ways to use them?

Lately our favorite is a simply salad - orange wedges drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and kosher salt/pepper. Sometimes I'll add roasted beets and blue cheese.  That's what we're having tonight with a bowl of soup.

During the day I'll make an orange smoothie with oranges, coconut water, carrots, apple, tumeric, ginger and and frozen banana or mango.

@Knit-Chick  that smoothie sounds good!

I just use Clementines, wash, cut into 6 or 8 wedges, and then pull out the wedges from the peel. They happily grace my breakfast plate. But of course I've added little peeled wedges to salads and hot veggies too.

Happy 2022 to you!

I like anything orange or cherry.

I eat a lot of  orange and cherry tootsie roll pops.

We dice up a pineapple and carra carra and clementines in a bowl stir and let it chill. It's a great citrus island salad.

@Knit-Chick - We've been having good luck with oranges too! I went into buy them for Christmas stockings and couldn't believe how big the ones in front were. The produce guy steered me to some small, less expensive ones on the side, then told me those were actually juicier. He was right. DH asked me where I got them!

We like them plain, but we also like them in salads, like you. I make a spinach salad with oranges, crumbled bacon, and  blue cheese. Smiley Happy

@beach-mom your salad sounds good!  The bags I've been buying have smaller oranges.  I bought a few larger navels, but the skin was so thick.

@Knit-Chick  I thought you might be ordering them on line.  My grocery stores have good oranges too.
