Does any one have a good recipe for the Onion Blossom

like the one they have at Outback. Had one last night at

the Outback. Hadn't had one in years and forgot how good

they really are.

You can find the recipe at copykat, it includes a link for the sauce also.

I think it's more trouble than it's worth to try and duplicate this at home.

I love the onion blossom at Outback, even though I don't eat it often at all.

I tried making it years ago and it's better for me to just go to Outback and order one when I get a craving.

Thanks kathoderay for the link! I lost the one I had and haven't thought about finding another one. The one in the link is just about the same one I used!

It is not at all hard to do your own, just like anything else you make home made!! Just takes a little time but the rewards are worth it, IMO!!! I do have a deep fryer that I use from time to time... NO trouble to make at all....

I agree with you.

They don't even taste the same if you bring it home and re-heat it.

100 miles is a long drive for an onion. LOL

I do agree leftovers are not very good, but it you play around with some of the recipes they're pretty good. It's not something you make all the time and isn't that hard to do.
