I just made these bars for a party and I forgot how delicious these little nuggets are.

1 cup sugar

1 cup light corn syrup

1 jar creamy peanut butter  16-17 oz size

5 cups special K cereal

1 bag butterscotch morsels

1 bag semisweet morsels

Grease a glass 13 x 9 baking dish, I used my Temptations one.

Put the sugar and corn syrup in a pan and bring to a boil, I let it boil about a min.

Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until combined

Add the 5 cups Special K and stir till all mixed

Pat into the 13 x 9 pan

Melt the butterscotch chips and semisweet morsels together in a pan stir till smooth and creamy

Pour the chocolate mixture over the special k mixture and spread evenly

Cool in fridge about 1/2 hr  until firm

cut into 1 inch squares, they can be kept in a container for 3 -4 days at room temp, but they won't last that long.  They cut really easy,

Yes I forgot how easy they were to make, not to mention the delicious factor.   Just like Lay's potato chips,

Thanks.  My favorie candy bar when I was a kid.  I used to stop everyday at the local drugstore and bought one for a nickel on my way home from school.
