I'm in the mood for risotto and have been wanting to try the no-stir versions I've noticed since my risotto mood doesn't include standing there for about a half hour.
There is Ina's recipe for a version in the oven, and I found what looks like a good version for stove-top no-stir mushroom risotto on a site called A Beautiful Plate.
Has anyone made a no-stir risotto that they loved?

Well, this is interesting .... I thought you "had" to stir it constantly. Is there a difference in how it's prepared, or just ... don't stir it? Can't wait to see what posters have to say about not stirring their risotto. ![]()

If you are near a Trader Joe's, you can try their risotto made in Italy. You can find it in their freezer section.

Buying risotto ready-made is a bridge too far for me, Toots. Thanks anyway. I want to know exactly what is in it.

Yes I have. I make it in my Instant Pot. DD and I love the lemon garlic version and have it with lamb. So easy and quick. have made it on top of the stove too--way too much time devoted to it. Tastes the same as the pressure cooker version and I use Cal Rose rice and not aborio rice.

I'm pretty sure that Trader Joes is required by law to state all ingredients in food products .. same as all other food manufacturing companies.

Right, I know that but what if I don't want some of their ingredients. It also doesn't give exact proportions other than listing the order of ingredients by which you tell if there is more of one thing than another.
Besides, I want to make it myself, which was the whole point of asking the original question.
Thanks, @Tinkrbl44

I love risotto! It's cumbersome to make for sure. I wish there was Minute Risotto like Minute Rice 😁!

Site called Pampered Chef has a no stir risotto recipe I am going to try next week. Below is the basic recipe ... then you add in other items, like veggies or meat. I don't have a microwave pan, but I will transfer to a microwave dish, yadda yadda. If you google, it's under easy no-stir risotto.
