New recipe for me.........Partly made up...........

My doc loves my pimento cheese, and asked for me to make some, and he is a chocolate freak.......{#emotions_dlg.w00t} I made homemade pimento cheese, and french onion dip, and dried beef and olive dip, and took in some pastrami and salami but the cake is then reason for this post..........My phone lines were cut on Monday, so I have had no phone or computer, so I am trying to catch up{#emotions_dlg.scared} Here is what I did...........My intentions were to make a chocolate dump cake, but my recipe was on my computer.........so I made something up.

It is some of the basic gooey butter cake, with my own twist...........

1 box of Devils Food Cake mix

1 melted stick of butter

1 egg

Mix all together into a dough and presss into a 9x13 pan.

1 8 oz of cream cheese (at room temp)

2 eggs

Vanilla

1 melted stick of butter

l 1b of powdered sugar

A good sprinklingling of semi chocolate chocolate chips

then the rest is up to you.............

Mix the cream cheese with the eggs and vanilla ( I just guessed at about 1-2 tsp), add the powdered sugar, and add the melted butter, and I just poured in some maraschino cherry juice, and stirred in the chocolate chips, and put this over the dough mixture..........Then I added maraschino cherries with the stems up, over the mixture, and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes..........

Let me tell you, this was gone in a heartbeat............{#emotions_dlg.w00t}
