We made a great Starbucks' discovery while on vacation; you may already know it well, but this particular variation can't be beat, imo. It's called a Granola Vanilla Yogurt Parfait, or is it a Vanilla Yogurt Granola Parfait? Whichever, it is delicious.
They begin with a helping of vanilla yogurt, probably 6 ozs, which is then layered with fresh raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries, just two or three of each, and topped with their own granola made with Quaker oats and other yummies. At home we use Quaker granola that just has almonds, and no dried fruit.
Vanilla yogurt is not something that would have appealed to me previously, but the wonderful taste sensation of this amazing Starbucks' breakfast changed my mind about that. Our at-home version made with the fresh fruit, Yoplait light vanilla yogurt, and the Quaker granola - just a couple of tablespoons, is terrific, but the Starbuck's magic is not all there.
I predict that, if you try it, you will like it!
