Re: Nestle Toll House ""DelightFulls"" filled chocolate chips

I found them in the special baking section that all the local Walmarts have set up in the center of a main aisle, not with the regular baking chips. I got each kind, but haven't tried them yet.

Does anyone know if these are just for the holidays or will they be a regular item? I want to know if I need to stock up or not.

I did buy and make cookies with the caramel choc chips, they were delicious, but very flat cookies. Delicious. I think I will try out the pb choc chips also.

Thanks for the review. I wonder what made them flat. Did you use the recipe on the back of the package? Well I'll give them a try too and report back. Thanks.

I looked on the product page and it didn't say, so I sent an email. I'll let you know if they write back with an answer.

IIRC, the pkg said to add a T. or 2 more flour if you did not add a full cup of nuts, which I only added about 1/2-3/4 c. of nuts, so I probably should have added at least an additional T. of flour, had not idea it would make that much difference. lol Hope yours are not quite as flat as mine.

Just received a response from Nestle:

Please be advised that our Nestlé® Toll House® DelightFulls® Filled Baking Morsels will be available year round and are not considered a seasonal item.

Another great fact-filled fun thread. Thanks so much, everyone. I, too, was totally unaware of this product, much less the delightful ideas about using it!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}
